Comprehensive care with Ambetter from Sunshine Health and Walmart Health

Appointments are not required at our Health Centers, but we encourage patients to make an appointment on our website or by calling Walmart Health to decrease your wait time, as walk-in appointments are not guaranteed.

Please bring a government issued ID and your insurance information if applicable. Upon arrival for your first visit, you will be greeted by a Walmart Health Care Host who will take you through the check-in process.

Walmart Health is not an emergency room. We do offer services to address certain urgent care needs, such as cold or flu, UTI, rash, stomach pain, headaches, cuts, fever, and injury. Our goal is to help you proactively manage your health through preventive care and provide extended hours to better serve you.

Walmart Health Centers are staffed with experienced medical professionals, including board-certified physicians, licensed nurse practitioners, dentists and behavioral health providers. Our full-time physicians and dentists have an average of 12 years of experience. Walmart Health Centers offer a variety of services under one roof, including primary and urgent care, laboratory tests, X-rays and diagnostics, counseling, a comprehensive range of dental services and virtual care.

No, if labs are ordered, the cost is not included in the physical exam price.

Walmart Health provides affordable, transparent cash pricing for health services. Cash price estimates are available when booking an appointment. If you have insurance, prices may vary depending on the specifics of your plan. Please contact your insurance carrier to confirm specific insurance details.

You can make a payment online through your Walmart Health Patient Portal account or on our website using the name and account number on your statement.

If you have questions or concerns about your bill or prefer to make a payment over the phone, give us a call at 877-661-6104, our hours are Monday – Saturday 7:30am – 8pm ET and Sunday 9am – 6pm ET.

If you do not have health insurance or are not using it, under the law you have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the costs of your scheduled services.

To receive a good faith estimate make sure you:

· Schedule an appointment at least 3 business days in advance. When you schedule care 0-2 business days in advance, you aren’t entitled to get a good faith estimate. When you schedule care 3-9 business days in advance, you’ll get the estimate within 1 business day. When you schedule care 10 or more business days in advance, you’ll get the estimate within 3 business days.

· Ask your provider directly for an estimate if you aren’t given one.

If after receipt of your medical service(s), you receive a bill that exceeds your Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you will have the opportunity to dispute the charges. Please make a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
